Well i think i can safely say that this combination of two previous rough clips has become my favorite. I don't want to say to much and ruin the emotion of it, so I'll just let you guys watch without any spoilers.

Long Walk (final edit)

Alriight, well this baby got a major overhaul. I reworked the beginning and the ending segments, but the middle was pretty much left untouched. I knew i had to find some method of transforming the images as they progressed, but in a way end where i began. My challenge was to come full circle with hard lines. See if you can follow what i mean.

I didn't change anything for this video because i thought that overall it was pretty solid. I welcome all criticisms and suggestions. I wouldn't mind updating the tv, so to speak.

This short here is a quick glimpse of my drift through Oconomowoc. I'm attempting to study form and how it may be possible to connect dissimilar objects through shape and suggestion.

Birds on TV

The idea for this piece came immediately as i looked over my raw footage. The phone lines that run continuously from the top to the bottom of the frame seemed so much like how the lines that scan the picture across a tv would work. I then needed a image for this "tv" to animate and so i interwove every five frames with five frames of flying geese.

convulsion

My goal for this video was to disrupt the flow of this turning spool. By dicing up the clip every few frames, i was able to produce a stutter-like effect, which for an unknown reason makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Fly High

Lucky enough to catch a plane while filming, i thought that i might be able to mimic the motion of flight by manipulating telephone lines in a disorienting manner.
